Private Castle Argyle Second Visit

For the first vigil the whole team go to the drawing room. Alex asks if spirit is present to make itself known to the team in any way it wishes. Christine suddenly faints. Paul and Alex go to her assitance. Once she had fully recovered Alex notices her chest is red and scratched. We have no explanation for this. Christine said that while she was meditating she felt spirit coming close to her from behind and that her face started to change and she had chest pains. She looked round to see if she could see who it was then just fainted. Christine feels the spirit was male when alive.

Jim "sees"a man wearing tartan trousers and picks up the name Alastair. Jim also says the tartan trousers he sees are like Black Watch tartan with big dark check. Christine describes the chest pain she was feeling as something like bronchitis. Sean says he was getting chest pains at the same time as Christine and picked up the name Hardy. Alex once again asks spirit if it would make it's presence known in anyway it wants. Jim holds up his voice recorder and asks spirit to give a name. Christine says the man is now coming close to her again. He is at her right hand side. Christine says she feels the man has come to apologise to her. Alex asks spirit to knock on the wall or window three times if his name is Alastair. No apparent response at this time.

Christine is hearing womens voices in the hallway. All team members are in the drawing room. Alex asks again. No apparent response. Alex asks spirit to knock three times on the wall or the window if the name is not Alastair. No apparent response.
Sean and Christine hear a noise at the window. Like a stone being thrown. Alex asks spirit to do it again, if infact it was spirit making the noise in the first place. Again the noise is heard. Paul says he has just been told by spirit that Alex should get the name of spirit correct. Alex then asks spirit if he was called Hardy. Christine picks up the name Ellis. Alex asks again if spirit was called Hardy. No apparent response. Sean is picking up the name Arron or Arran. Alex asksspirit if this is a place name or christian name. No apparent response.

Alex sees movement between Paul and Billy. No team member had moved. Mike is picking up spirit showing itself as a woman walking in front of him round towards Christine and Paul. Mike describes the woman as wearing a tight fitting sikl dress and is quite tall. She is just waliking around again and again. The dress is plain an ice blue colour. Mike feels the lady does not know we are here. This would suggest the lady is a ghost rather than a spirit.
Christine feels something at her back. She also sees a presence standing by one of the windows in the room. Jim picks up the spirit of a young woman who is in her late teens or early twenties. Jim describes her dress as Victorian. Christine is now picking up the town of Coupar Angus. Paul picks up Coupar. Alex asks Christine to ask spirit the connection with Coupar Angus. She can't get the connection. Paranormal Investigation Scotland is based in Coupar Angus.

Sean picks up the name Agnes. Christine says there is a presence right in front of her which is blocking her view. She feels it is the spirit of a child. There is a noise from the hallway. Alex goes to investigate. Nobody is in the hallway. Back in the drawingroom, Billy sees the spirit of a man standing at the left hand side of the window facing them. The man is wearing a brown jacket and brown shirt. Christine sees him as in his thirties. As Jim is speaking a knock is heard. Jim asks spirit do knock againg if it was spirit knocking in the first place. Another two knocks are heard. Sean "sees" a womans reflection in one of the mirrors.
Paul says he is picking up the words Newton Mearns and Christine is hearing the song I Belong To Glasgow. Sean says he has just seen a face about a foot above Ians head. Sean does not know if it was male or female.

The team notice a drop in temperature. Christine picks up the name Arthur. Christine is hearing an arguement between two women in the hallway. Alex asks spirit to tell the team what happened to him. Christine picks up spirit passed away on the stairs. Paul says a spirit by the name of Angus is looking for his pipe. Mike says it is freezing behind him.
Paul is picking up someone was hidden here a long time ago. They arrived late at night and their arrival was totally unexpected. Paul is pickimg up the date 1400s and English. Christine "sees" the bottom half of legs walking towards her. She describes "white shoes and white socks." She now sees some sort of tails. A jacket. Jim asks what is so special about an airplane. Paul says it crashed. Sean sees something like a bomber plane. Jim says the pilot was not English. Christine picks the pilot was German.

The team go for a break then split into smaller teams.

Paul, whose team consists of Linda, Christine, Ian and Alex chooses bedroom number three for his first vigil.

Paul decided to try automatic writing on this vigil. Alex asks spirit to communicate in any way it wishes. Christine "sees" a black and whte cat. The cat is rubbing up against the legs of Christine. She says the cat is sitting looking up at Alex. The cats name is Tinker. Christine sees the cat away from this room. The cat is wondering along the hallways as if it belongs to the place. Christine also "sees" a little girl clapping the cat. The girl is described as wearing a whit nightgown and has blond hair. The girl is about five or six years of age.
Christine says the girl is quite mischevious and is running around the hallway. She is putting her face through the stair bannisters. Christine says she can hear people talking right oputside the room we are in. The people are having an arguement. Christine says the child has seen something she should not have seen. Alex asks Christine to ask the little girl if anyone is with her. Christine gets a name which sounds like Harry.

Alex asks Christine if she can see the girls face. Christine says the girl is peering through the bannister so she cannot see the whole face. Alex asks the girl to show her full face to Christine. Christine says the girls face is scarred and she looks very sad. Paul picks up the name Kendal and Christine picks up the name Martin. Alex asks Paul if he is seeing Kendal as a place name. Paul says someone just asked him who Kendal is.

Christine sees Martin as a young boy. Paul picks up someone died of smallpox but does not know if this refers to Kendal. Christine picks up the presence of a spirit showing itself as a lady. The lady is saying "tell them nothing." Paul then says the laird died of smallpox. Christine says the lady is looking at Alex and frowning. Alex then asks if the lady's name is Elizabeth. Christine informs the team that the little girl has just gone behind the lady and is clinging to her dress. Christine says something has happened and the lady is hiding her true emotions by showing anger.

Christine sees the little girl tugging at the lady's dress and says she is telling the lady "it is not your fault." The boy Christine sees the boy is wearing the white socks she saw earlier. She also feels as if the right side of her head is swelling up and is going to explode. Alex asks the age of the boy. Christine gets 16. Paul says someone has just shouted the age of six to him and also picks up the "the laird of the mains." Christine sees a woman and a small girl standing at the side of a body of water. The woman is wearing a shiny navy blue dress with a white petticoat. They are just looking out at the water. Paul picks up someone has had to face a council here. This is a long long time ago.

Christine sees the cat going towrads Alex. Paul asks spirit to use his energies to move his hand and write something on the paper. He also asks spirit to make some sort of noise when he stops talking. No apparent response. Paul asks again for spirit to make some sort of loud noise so every team member can hear it. No apparent response. Paul then asks the team if they are picking up on any names. Alex picked up the name Samamtha. Verified by Paul.
Paul then asks Samantha to do something in the room we can all see or hear. No apparent response. He then asks if spirit would go over to the camcorder and shout it's name. A noise is heard. Ian says it sounds like a scream. Christine said it sounded like the name Samantha. The noise was heard twice. Christine sees a spirit showing itself as a young boy standing by Ian. Alex picks up the name Julie-ann or Julian. Christine hears a young girl aged about eight singing a song about numbers. The young girl has her hair in pigtails.

Christine now sees the young boy by Ian a lot clearer. He is peeking over the end of the bed and is about two years old. Paul "sees" the picture of a fox and says he has been told to mention the Fox family. He asks spirit for more information. He is told the family did not own the house. They were guests at the house and they stayed a while. This was late 1700s early 1800s. Ian hears music. Linda asks if anyone can hear someone singing. He describes it as something like a music box.
Christine now hears the little girl singing. It is coming from near Linda. Paul asks where Jane is. Christine gats a strong feeling the room door is going to open. Paul feels a presence standing behind him. There is a definate energy behind Paul but nobody can make out what it is. Christine smells stale alcohol and gets the name Edward. Paul feels the presence behind him is male and is peering over Pauls shoulder trying to see what he is doing. Alex and Christine agree there appear to be two figures behind Paul. Time is now up so Paul calls a halt to the vigil.

Paul takes his team to Bedroom One for his next vigil.

The first thing Paul does is to take a photo of the room. Christine who along with Linda is sitting on a single bed. She feels a presence beside her. There is something on the photo Paul took but we can't make out what it is. Paul takes another photo. This time the lights are left on. He then takes another photo with the lights off. Whatever is on the photo is still there but this time it appears to have moved. Christine still feels a presence beside her. When walking in a straight line from the door to where Christine is sitting, the compass needle moves by about five degrees. Christine picks up the name Jenny.
Christine says Jenny is in her twenties and is picking up two dates. 1961 and 1842. Jenny tells Christine she was downstairs earlier. Alex asks Christine to ask Jenny why the year 1842 is important to her. Christine says that is the year Jenny's father died. Alex than asks why the year 1961 is important to her. No response. Alex then asks if her father owned this building. Jenny said he did own it for a short time. Alex sees an energy between Linda and Christine.

Christine hears a woman say "don't be frightened." The woman is wearing a dress which is quite tight. It sticks away out as she is wearing petticoats under it. Something touches Paul. Christine hears some unseen presence shout Agnes and hears the surname O'Shaunessey. Christine hears an Irish woman speaking and says someone is touching her ankles. Christine then asks Alex if he has recently been in touch with an Irish woman who has passed over as this woman is standing looking at Alex. Alex replies he does but does not elaborate at this time. The room temperature is dropping dramatically.
Alex feels his face is wet. It is like someone is washing his face with a cloth. Christine sees a figure in the far corner of the room. Paul says spirit is telling him a Charles Nicoll laid claim to this land at one time. Christine "sees" a small boy run past Alex and smack him in the face. Paul picks up the year 1580. This date is to do with Charles Nicoll. Christine feels the bed move and picks up the presence of a little girl.

Alex asks spirit to tell us what their favourite food was. Paul picks up the words stock broth. Paul asks spirit to give us something we can see or hear. No apparent response at this time. The team hear talking. This could be one of the other teams in another bedroom. Paul then asks spirit to copy the two knocks he is going to make. No apparent response in the room but there were two knocks which came from outside the room. Paul asks again but this time asks for spirit to respond by giving two knocks within the room. The team hear only one knock.

Christine says somone is jumping on the bed her and Linda are sitting on and also says someone is touching her hair. Christine again sees the girl in pigtails. The girl is jumping up and down on the bed and singing Emily. The team are hearing music. Alex is hearing the song This Old Man over and over again. Paul again knocks on the table twice and asks Emily to copy him. Christine sees Emily standing at the end of the bed and also sees a face beside the window. Paul who is now looking out of the window towards Loch Fyne sees what he describes as a submarine coming up the loch. He picks up the numbers 03.
While standing at the window, Christine feels as if she is a "forthright" person.The time is now up so Paul calls a halt to the vigil and the team go for a break.

For his next vigil, Paul takes his team to Bedroom Two.

As the team are settling down, Alex hears footsteps in the hallway. He goes to investigate but finds nothing. Back in the room, Paul asks spirit to communicate with the team in anyway it wishes. Right away Paul hears a knock to his left and asks spirit to do it again. Christine hears a woman crying outside the room. Alex checks the room for draughts. There are no significant draughts. The team hear an alarm go off. They do not go to investigate as the alarm stops very quickly and they assume it was someone from one of the other teams who set it off by accident. Nobody from the other teams set the alarm off.

Paul picks up a connection with the castle and Ireland. He also sees a family coming from Ireland to Scotland. Once again Paul asks spirit to do something we can see or hear. Again Christine hears music.Linda sees a shape above Pauls head. She describes the shape as something like a humming bird. Alex asks spirit to touch Linda. No apparent response. Christine sees a shadow stepping in and out of the room bathroom. Alex is picking up the word Haugh. Alex asks spirit if it is pronounced haw or hoch. He gets the response James Haugh. As soon as Alex said the name, a burst of static electricity came over the walkie talkie radio.
Christine asks Alex to say the word again. Alex says haugh. Christine then tells Alex that her dad is Irish and when he says hello to anybody he says haugh pronounced as haw. Alex asks once again if spirit was called James. No apparent response.

Alex is hearing the song "Wha saw the tattie pickers." Paul sees two horses pulling a carriage. He describes the carraige as having two wheels like something from a Sherlock Holmes film. The horses have black feathers on a hind of headgear. Alex asks Paul if he can see the outside of the building. Paul says there is no entrance as there is now. Paul says there is a man sitting on top of the carraige and is wearing a top hat. Paul can't see the mans face as he is seeing the carraige as if he is looking down at it from a room window. The carraige itself is fully enclosed except it has only half doors.
Paul sees this as early Victorian times. Alex asks spirit if this house was called Minard at that time. Paul and Christine get a definate no and Christine picks up the letter A. Linda says the shape on top of Pauls head is now green. Once again Paul asks spirit to touch someone or make something move. As Paul is speaking there is a definate noise coming from beside him. It is like someone saying hmmmmm.

Paul knocks twice on the wall and asks spirit to copy him. Alex asks Paul to do three knocks. He does but no apparent response at this time. Christine hears singing again. Alex remarks it is more like a constant murmor.
Paul sees the wheels of the carriage he saw earlier as having black wheels with a red trim. Alex asks Paul to go into the carriage and see if it has a roll down blind. Paul says he sees a bit of cloth which fite ober the space to keep the elements out but it is not a blind. It ties down. Time is now up so Paul calls a halt to the vigil.

Paul takes his team to the Family Suite for his next vigil.

In this room Paul decides to try the mirror experiment.
Christine tries first. Something flicks Christines ponytail. No team member is near enough to touch her hair. Paul sees an old woman with a fat face. Christine sees the face of a man with dark hair followed by the face of a Jamiacan man. He has a long face and grey hair. Linda sees a man with a moustache. He has short dark hair. Christine feels as if the chubby faced woman is trying to pull her into the mirror.
Christine sees Scotts face changing through his reflection in the mirror and Paul and Scott both see a gypsy woman. The gypsy lady appears to come right out of the mirror at Christine. Scotts face changes into that of a bald man with a very long black beard. We give the experiment a break for the moment. Paul asks spirit to make itself known in anyway it wishes. Paul sees a black orb on the floor.

Once again Paul asks spirit to do something we can all see or hear. Christine feels someone prodding the back of her neck. The camera refuses to focus around Christine. Christine asks spirit to make itself known by doing whatever it can. Faint knocks are heard on video playback. Christine then asks spirit to move the wardrobe door key. Alex sees a pure white figure standing right in front of Christine.
Christine sees a light just "sitting" by the table near the fireplace. Alex picks up the name Simon. Alex asks Simon to shout hello to the team. No apparent response. Alex asks again. Alex hears someone whispering beside Christine. She feels someone touch her feet and then says someone is moving her legs. Spirit tells Christine her name was Molly. Christine then tells the team Molly is about four years of age. Molly is pushing Christines foot downwards and hears someone tell her to shut up. Alex asks if it is John or Vincent who is telling Christine to shut up.

Christine is picking up the presence of a spirit who is showing itself as a male. She gets the name Henry and the letter V. Molly is now playing with Christines other foot. Paul now tries the mirror experiment. Alex sees a man with long long black hair which curls up at the ends, thin features, bushy eyebrows.
Christine sees a thin featured man with blond hair and a blond moustache. Paul sees a man wearing a long wig and a man who looks like Robert Burns. He then sees a man with a goatee beard. The man is trying to tell Paul something but Paul can't hear what it is. Christine sees a man in the mirror wink at her. Through the mirror, Christine sees a black shadow behind her. With the vigil coming to an end, Alex asks spirit to tell the team what it's name was. No apparent response. Paul sees a harlequin mask. The mask is pure white. Paul then sees a Japanese man in the mirror. Christine sees a man who she describes as like a wolf. Time is up so Paul brings the vigil to an end.

Sean, whose team consists of Billy Davey Martin and Craig chooses Bedroom One for his first vigil of the night.

Craig asks any spirit present to make itself known to the team in any way it wishes to. Someone pokes Davey in the back. Craig asks spirit to identify itself. Sean picks up the presence of a sprit showing itself a a girl in her late teens. The girl is just walking around the room. Billy picks up on smeone who he feels had a major heart attack. Sean asks spirit to do something the team can see or hear. Davey feels a breeze moving about. Martin says there is a coldness around his hands as if someone with cold hands is holding them.
Billy feels as if someone went into the bathroom and fell down suddenly. Billy asks spirit to make a bang or whisper in someones ear. No apparent response at this time. Billy sses a blcak presence in front of him at the toilet door. Confirmed by Davey and Martin. Davey asks spirit to open the toilet door or to at least bang on it. Sean sees a presence by the door. He says the presence is about 6 ft tall. Davey says it is the man who was in the other room and he is related to the house. Sean sees something go past the window. Davey then says the man is very active in this room. Billy sees a blue light coming from the bathroom.

Davey is picking up someone who had heart problems. The spirit Davey is picking up is very agitated. Sean asks spirit to make itself known. Billy says it feels as if someone is sitting on his hand. Martin has a pain and numbness at the left hand side of his ribs and Davey said he has the same pain. Davey also says the man is holding his ribs and his chest. Sean gets words of a song quoted to him. Something about attitude. Davey asks spirit to do something if it wants the team to leave the room. No apparent response.
Davey then asks spirit to give the team a sign if it wants them to stay in the room. Some unseen presence sits on the bed beside Davey and Billy and something touches the left hand of Sean. Davey says the bed is moving. For some strange reason the main video camera was moved earlier in the vigil away from the beds and trained on the bathroom door so we have no visual record of the bed allegedly moving. The team hear a noise which they describe as like a baby crying. Davey gets a pain in his chest and also says his head is bursting.

Once again, Davey picks up the presence of a young girl. He says the girl is crying and is trying to tell him something but can't get it out. Billy says he hears something in the bathroom and opens the door. Nothing is found. Eventaully the video camera is trained back on the team. An orb is seen going towards the bed and the battery power for the video camera goes from 84 minutes to 112 minutes. Martin says he felt a pain in his back at the time the orb went towards the bed and feels a massive coldness go right over his head.

Davey says the little girl is trying to take his hand and is trying to show him something. The girl is still crying and is pointing to the top of the staircase. Davey feels someone has fallen down the stairs. He then says the girl has a connection with the spirit which is showing itself as a man. Davey says someone has fallen down the stairs and banged their head. She is trying to pull Davey towards the stairs. All team members have sore heads at this point. Craig sees an orb go from Billy to Sean. Time is now up so Sean calls a halt to the vigil.

Seans vigil Bedroom Two

At the start of the vigil Davey feels very cold and says there is a cold swirl in front of him. Spirit is asked by Craig to make itself known in any way it wishes. No apparent response at this time. Craig gets a feeling of anxiety. Sean picks up on the spirit of a little girl and gets the name Mary. All team members see a shadow walking past the doorway. No team member is walking in the hallway. Craig sees a small flash of light in front of him.
The little girl Sean is seeing tells him she is playing with a young boy called Micheal. She tells Sean Micheal does not belong to this house and has come here with a team member.

Davey picks up the name Isobella. He says this is a small girl. Craig is picking up an Aileen or Irene. There is a cold spot about two feet from the floor. Billy sees a presence sitting on a chair in the room and something is touching the left ear of Davey. As spirit children prefer people to sit on the floor, all the team members sit on the floor.
Once again Davey is getting touched on the back of his ear. He describes the fingers and says they are tiny. Sean sees a line of light in front of him. He describes the line as squiggly. Davey says the kids are playing games and running around the room laughing. Sean sees a spot of blue light between his feet.
The team see what they describe as a black mist in front of them. Davey hears a whisper and something touches Seans arm. Sean then says something has a gentle hold of his left arm. Davey said he feels an adult has come out of a room where kids are playing. The adult is very very angry.

Davey feels a presence between him and Billy. Davey asks spirit to make itself known and to give some indication if it wants the team to leave the room. No apparent response at this time. Davey gets his right thigh touched twice. Davey asks spirit to do it again. Something tickles the foot of Billy. Davey says it is the small girl tickling the feet of Billy. There is also the spirit of a small boy in the room. Davey says the boy is very shy.
Billy sees a shadow by the curtain. There is a tapping noise heard by all team members coming from the door area of the room. The team are begining to feel very uncomfortable and cut the vigil short. They go back to the baseroom for a break.

Sean vigil Bedroom Three

Davey picks up the spirit of a man who he says has been in a battle or war and is quite badly injured. Sean asks spirit to make a noise. The team hear a noise coming from near the tv set. Sean asks again for spirit to make it's presence known in any way it can. No apparent response at this time. Sean picks up a spirit which is showing itself as a male and gets the name Robert. Davey says Robert is trying to tell the team what happened to him.
Sean can feel an energy moving around the room. Davey Robert has his hand out as if to ask for help. He wants his pain taken away. Sean feels a pain and asks Davey to ask Robert where his pain is. Davey says Robert is pointing to his chest and the injury was causd by a gunshot. Davey then changes his mind and said that Robert was stabbed. Sean asks if Robert died here. Davey says yes he did. Sean asks Robert once again to make his presence known to all team members it any way he wishes. No apparent response at this time.

The team hear a sound which sounds like someone breathing deeply. Sean asks spirit to do something else and feels a draught go up his back. The room temperature has dropped suddenly. Sean feels as if a spirit is following him around the room. Davey says Robert is trying to show him where he was wounded. Some unseen presence pushes Sean backwards. Davey asks spirit to push Sean again. Sean feels a soft pressure on his chest. A shadow passes in front of Davey.
For some reason the team lock off the main video camera facing the bottom of the room door. Although a secondary camera is used to film the rest of the vigil, we have not to date received this footage so the report of this vigil is not complete.

Seans vigil downstairs bedroom

In this room Sean tries a mirror experiment. Davey goes first. Sean sees a young boy coming through Davey. Davey sees a bald man. Davey and other team members see various faces but no details of who they were are forthcoming. Martin has a go. The team see Martin change into a man in his forties who has a very fat face. Sean sees a man who looks like a well known murderer. First name Peter. All the team see someone with a "skinhead." Various other faces are seen but once again no details are forthcoming. The team decide to sit in a circle and hold hands.
Davey asks for any spirit in the room to make itself known to the team. Sean says there is a spirit close to him. something touches the right hand of Martin three times. Davey asks spirit to do it again. Spirit obliges. Davey is getting his back stroked at the right hand side. Sean feels a presence at his back. Davey asks spirit to identify itself to the team. Sean hears a noise. Davey asks spirit to do it again and gets a cold sensation at his face. Davey asks spirit to speak clearly so the whole team can hear. Sean says his feet are freezing.

All team members are feeling very cold. Billy asks if Edward is in the room to make his presence known. Something moves Sean's hat. Billy asks spirit to make a noise. No apparent response. Billy asks again. A faint noise is heard. Billy asks spirit to make the noise louder. Davey feels spirit is trying to push him out of the room. Billy tells spirit to stop it. Billy asks spirit to touch a team member. Something touches the calf of Davey. Billy asks spirit to nudge someone. No apparent response. Time is up so Sean calls a halt and the team go for a break.

Jim, whose team consists of Mike, Colin, Paul H and Scott, chooses Bedroom Two for his first vigil of the night.

Jim asks spirit to make itself known in any way it can. After a few minutes Jim senses a woman by the room door. She is dressed like a Victorian housekeeper, thin faced, black greying hair which is tied up in a bun. She is wondering what is going on and will not come right into the room. Mike sees a young girl sitting beside him. The girl is wearing a white nightdress. Jim has a coldness on his back and feels there is an older woman standing behind Scott and Colin. The woman is wearing a sparkly ballgown and has a tiara on her head. Jim gets the name Isabell. Mike is freezing behind him.
Jim asks Isabell to talk to the team. Mike says she is standing to the right of Jim. Once again Jim asks Isabell to tell him her name. He gets the name Isabell/Isabella Grant. Mike says she has a doulbe barrelled name and she was a Baroness.

Jim asks for her full surname. Once again Jim asks spirit to do something in the room which all the team can see or hear. Mike and Jim both say the lady has moved and is now behind Colin. Mike says she has her back to Colin and is facing the headboard.
Mike says the spirit cannot see them. There is a noise heard coming from the bathroom area. No team member is in this area. Jim once again asks the lady to talk to the team and asks if Baroness is the correct title. Mike hears a whisper coming from the dorr area of the room. Jim asks if there are any other spirits who would communicate with the team. Mike feels a coldness behind him again and says two girls are standing behind him.
Jim again asks spirit to communicate with the team. The team hear a creak coming from outside the door. Jim says it is a physical creak. No team members are moving around outside the room.

Mike again hears noises coming from outside the door. Jim goes to investigate. There is nobody there. Jim is picking up an older man wearing a green tweedy coloured jacket. He is about 5ft 6ins tall and when he walks he shuffles. The man has a humped back and is wearing a cap. The man has what Jim describes as a "gummy" smile and is carrying a stick. He is carrying the stick and not using it to walk with.
Mike picks up the name Gordon McBride? Jim says Gordon is in his eighties and Mike says he is the girls grandfather. Jim also says the man is wearing tartan slippers and his trousers are about three sizes to big. He also says the man waves with his left hand has a big smile and is not from this house. Mike gets touched from behind but cannot sense anything behind him. Jim says it has got really dark at Mikes side of the room. Jim senses spirit who is showing herself as a woman. She is in her late twenties and has ginger hair. The lady also has green eyes.

Jim asks spirit to identify itself. Mike says she is tickling his ear. Jim says spirit is now standing in front of Scott and is trying to touch him. Once again Jim asks spirit for a name. Mike gets the name Charlotte. Jim asks spirit to make a noise. A noise is heard. Jim says it was a physical noise and asks spirit to speak into his voice recorder. Again Jim picks up the old man. Jim asks if the man is English or Scottish and says the man waved when the word Scottish was said.
Jim gets the image of a big white persian cat. Time is now up so Jim brings the vigil to an end.

Jims vigil downstairs bedroom

Jim asks spirit to make it's presence known in any way it wishes. Mike is picking up a man whois in his late thirties with greased slick black hair combed back. Jim is picking up the spirit of a man wearing a hat. The man Mike is picking up is wearing a dressing gown type thing. Jim asks if he is standing by the fireplace and Mike says he is. He picks up the date 1930s and gets the name Giles. Jim asks Giles to talk to the team and Mike says Giles is very well spoken. His surname is Gray/Gray. Mike also says he has his hand in his pocket. He is actually wearing a dark green smoking type jacket.
Mike sees this room as a sitting room rather than a bedroom. Mike says this is more like a replay of events rather than a spirit presence. Mike senses the presence of another spirit. Jim asks who it is and gets the name Gerald. Mike says the spirit is standing right beside him and he is actually freezing. He then asks spirit to knock on the wall. No apparent response at this time. Jim asks if spirit is angry with the team and remarks that spirit is like a head butler or something. Spirit is asked by Jim to do something if it wants the team to leave the room. No apparent response.

Colin feels a presence and Jim says there is a shadow in front of Colin whose left ear is cold at the top. Mike asks spirit to tap the head of Colin who now feels pins and needles at the top of his left ear. No response.

Jims vigil Bedroom three.

Mike asks if any spirit is present to make their presence known in any way they wish. Jim hears a tap on the wall Mike sees a presence standing by the video camera belonging to Scott. The video camera shuts down. Jim asks spirit to communicate with the team in any way it can. Once again he hears a very loud tap. Jim asks spirit to talk into his voice recorder. Jim feels as if there is a presence in the far corner of the room and Colin hears a floorboard creak in the same area. Jim asks spirit to identify itself. No apparent response at this time.
Jim sees a man in a very dark old fashioned type suit with a green collar which fastens on to the suit. The man has a moustache which is black and comes straight down the side of his cheeks. He seems very interested in what is in Jims bag. Jim asks spirit to talk to him. No apparent response at this time.

Once again Jim asks spirit to make itself known. Someone ses a presence at the end of one of the beds but can't make out what it is. Jim sees a little girl of about four or five sitting on the end of the bed.
A presence is seen sitting in the chair by the door by Colin. The presence is male and is about 6ft tall. He is wearing a cloak and an old fashioned type of top hat. He has a black cane with a silver top. Colin gets the name Angus and Jim gets the name Arthur. Colin then asks spirit if his name is Alastair. No apparent response. Jim asks if the name is Arthur. There is a burst of static electricity through the walkie talkie. No team members touched the walkie talkie.
Mike says he is waiting for a woman. He does not know who the woman is. Mike also says something about a watch and chain. Jim hears the name Emily and asks who she is. Jim then asks where the man is taking Emily.

Colin has a tingly cold feeling in his hands. Mike says a woman has just come in and is sitting on the bed. She is talking to her husband telling him where she has been. Jim says she is crying and the man is really angry with her. Jim also says he is hitting the woman with a cane as she is seeing someone else. Jim says the man is resident here. The man is stalking back and forwards and is getting really angry.
Jim asks Arthur if there is anything he can do to one of the team and also asks why he has not moved on yet. No apparent response at this time. Jim asks spirit to talk into his voice recorder. Mike sees flintlock pistols. Jim says the man shot himself and he has not repented for killing his wife and feels entirely justified he did it. Once again Jim asks Arthur to make his presence known to the team is some way. No apparent response. Colin sees a presence by the wardrobe. Jim sees a small girl wearing a long white nightdress holding a teddy bear. She is barefoot and her hair is sort of curly but not very long. She has a teddy in her left hand and the thumb of her right hand is near her mouth. Jim also says she is very shy. Time is up so Jim brings the vigil to an end.

Jims vigil Drawing room

Jim decides to try table tipping in this room. He asks everyone to put their feet under the seats they are sitting on. Jim then tells everyone to lightly put the tips of their fingers on the table. The team feel a drop of temperature around the table. Colin senses a presence standing beside him. Jim asks spirit to try and move the table. Jim sees three spirits standing around the table. Jim asks one of the spirits to move the table. Jim asks spirit to move the table more strongly. Jim moves the table and asks spirit to copy his movement. Craig feels a coldness at his left hand side. Mike feels a presence at his right.
Jim asks spirit to move the table if the answer is yes to the questions which are going to be asked. Jim asks if spirit was called Leonard. No response.

Jim asks if spirit was a young girl and Mike asks if it is the girl from the bedroom. Jim asks if the girl is older than ten. Jim then asks if there are lots of other spirit people around the house. There is a series of three knocks heard. This could have been someone from one of the teams downstairs. Jim asks if spirit just banged on the wall or floor to do it again. There are three clear knocks heard. Both series of knocks are heard on video playback. Jim says he is not sure if it is spirit knocking but one way to be sure is if spirit would move the table if it was spirit who knocked. No apparent response.

Jim asks spirit to copy the sound he is going to make. Jim knocks three times on the table in a rythmic manner. No apparent response. The team each tap once on the table. Jim starts but just before he taps, a tap is heard on video playback. There are five members at the table and there were six taps. A few seconds later another two clear taps are heard. Being the scientist he is, Jim is still not convinced and tells everyone to take their hands well away from the table. He then says they will all one at a time tap once on the table. They must take their hands away from the table once they have tapped. Jim goes first. No apparent response this time.

Jim asks if spirit would like to play the piano which is in the room. No apparent response. He then asks spirit to make themselves known in any way they wish. Something touches the left ear of Colin. Jim asks spirit to identify itself. Jim asks if spirit wants the team to go away. No apparent response. PaulH sees a presence across the room. PaulH says the presence has been there the whole time. Jim sees a presence walk between Mike and Craig and asks spirit to identify itself. Once again Jim asks spirit to do something the team can see or hear. No apparent response. He asks spirit to make the table move if it wants the team to leave. No apparent response. There is still a presence between Mike and Craig. Time is up so Jim brings the vigil to an end.

Experiment whole team.

In the morning room all team members are given a pen/pencil and notepad. They are asked various questions by Alex and have to write down the answers they think spirit is giving them. At the end of the experiment all notepads are collected by Jim without the team members seeing anybody elses answers.. By all intents and purposes most of the answers should be the same. Results will be published once they have been checked.

Morning room vigil. Whole team.

It was decided to hold a seance. For safety reasons three members of the team stayed out of the circle. Jim asks spirit to come and make itself known to the team. Mike senses spirit standing behind the left shoulder of Sean. Mike senses something pass by his right shoulder. Jim says it is a small girl. She is standing beside Mike and Craig. Jim says she is facing Mike and her back is towards Craig. The girl is wondering what is going on.
Their is whispering heard at the table. No team member is whispering. Jim again asks spirit to make itself known. Mike says something about the eyes of Sean. Alex is moving around the circle. Sean's eyes are following Alex. Sean has his eyes closed at this point. Sean says it feels as if he has no control of his body. There is a man trying to communicate through Sean. Sean says the man is struggling. Jim sees the man has a moustache and a beard. Sean is struggling to speak and feels the man had a "mental" illness. Alex asks if Sean can get a name. Christine picks up the name Alfred. Sean says he is freezing cold. Alex remarks the heat coming from Sean is remarkable.

Paul hears someone whisper behind him. There is nobody behind Paul. The man is crying with frustration. He is frustrated he can't talk or move properly. Jim thinks the man suffered a stroke. Some unseen spirit is asking Christine if it can join in the game. This is Emily again. Mike says Emily is now standing beside Sean and is scared of what is happening to Sean. Christine says it looks as if Sean is standing up. The man is aware of everyone in the room. Jim asks the man if he had a stroke. Sean feels very agitated at this question.
Jim asks the man if he lived here. Sean said the man owned the place. Jim asks if the man had a son. Sean says the man had a daughter. Jim asks the daughters name. No response. Sean is now aware of the presence of a woman. This could be the mans carer. The woman cared for the man in life and is now caring for him in spirit. Sean feels the woman is related to the man. Christine sees a black orb by Colins forehead. Sean now says the man keeps coming and going.

Jim feels a presence behind him and says it is a very tall man. Colin is now freezing. Colin sees a shape behind Mike. Sean says the man is frustrated because he did not have the ability because of illness to tell the woman how much he appreciated what she is doing for him. Sean now says the man is related to someone at the table. Jim says Sean is right because when he said that he got a tingle down his spine. Some unseen presence is tappinng on the table. Colin says something is pushing his shoulders. Jim tells spirit the session is about to close and asks it to do something which everyone can see or hear. Craig now tells the team that everything Sean said relates to his father. We must state that Craig is a guest at this investigation and had never met Sean before.
Something whispers ok in Jims ear. It was a womans voice and Sean has his left hand touched. Sean feels the touch of the hand was spirit saying thank you. Mike again sees the young girl standing at his right hand side. Time is up so Jim closes the seance. Just before the session closes Mike says the small girl is running round the table trying to touch everyones neck. Alex had just said there was a cold breeze going round the table. Jim thanks spirit and closes the session.

Glass divination experiment.

Paul asks if there are any spirits present to move the glass. Positive response. Paul asks if spirit was male to move the glass. Negative response. He then asks if spirit was a woman to move the glass. Positive response. Paul asks if spirit lived here. Negative response. Jim asks if spirit visited here. Negative response. Paul asks spirit to move the glass if it wants the team to go away. Negative response. He then asks spirit to move the glass if it wants us to stay. Positive respone.
Mike asks if it is the girl they saw in the other room. Positive response. Christine asks if spirit likes singing. Positive response. Jim asks spirit to move the glass to where she is standing. Positive response. Paul asks if spirit is happy we are here. Positive response. Paul then asks spirit to move the glass when it hears it's name. After a few attempts there is a positive response to the name Emily. Spirit is then asked to move the glass fast. The glass shoots across the table towards Jim. The team then asks Emily her age. There is a positive response at fours years of age.

Jim asks if there is anyone else at the table. Positive response. Paul asks how many people are at the table with her. As there are seven team members there, spirit obviously responds to the number seven. Paul asks if Emily lived in this house. Negative response. Mike asks if it was her grandfathers house. Positive response. He then asks if her mother stayed here. Positive response. Paul asks if Emily has been following the team around the house. Positive response. Christine asks if it was her who was jumping on the bed. Positive response.

Jim asks if there are any other spirits with her who would talk to us. Positive response. Mike asks Emily to move the glass quickly. The glass shoots across the table towards Mike. Paul asks Emily to push the glass towards the person known as Jim. Positive response.

Jim then asks if there is an older spirit who can come and talk to the team. Negative response. Mike asks if she will get told off by her grandad if he knew she was talking to us. Positive response.

Paul asks if Emily can do anything else for the team. Mike asks Emily if she can blow the candle out. Positive response.

Mike is goading spirit by saying I bet you can't blow the candle out and only big girls can blow the candle out. Spirit stops responding.

Jim then asks Emily if she can go and get a grown up the team can speak to. Positive response. Jim asks if there is a spirit presnt rather than Emily to move the glass. The glass shoots across the table towards Christine. Jim asks if it a male. Positive response. Paul asks if spirit is happy we are in his house. Positive response. Paul asks if spirit would move the glass when he says the number of spirit people who are in the room. Positive response at number four. Paul asks if they are all related to the spirit. Negative response. Jim asks if they are all female. Positive response. He then asks if the women who are with him are all older women. Positive response.

Mike asks if spirit has sons who are not present. Positive response. Jim asks if spirit is sad or angry we are doing this. Negative response.

Paul asks which century spirit lived here. Positive response at 19th century.

Paul then asks the year. Positive response when Christine says 1835.

Christine asks if spirit was called Angus. Positive response.

Paul asks if there is another Angus. Positive response.

Jim asks if the other Angus was his son. Negative response.
Paul asks if Angus was his son in law. Positive response.

Christine says Angus is telling her he collapsed and died. He died on the stairs. Mike asked if spirit had problems breathing. Positive response.

He then asks if spirit collapsed upstairs. Positive response.

Christine says spirit is telling her they treated him like a piece of meat and dragged him down the stairs. Jim asks if spirit was angry by the way he was treated. Positive response.

Jim asks if spirit was old when he died. Positive response.

Christine gets the age 76. Jim asked if it was the servants who dragged him downstairs. Negative response.

Paul asks if it was two women who dragged him downstairs. Positive response.

He then asks if this is the two women who still walk the stairs. Positive response.

Paul asks if the carriage he saw earlier belonged to him. Negative response.

Christine asks if the carriage was to take him away. Positive response.

Jim asks if spirit was in the carriage when he was living. Negative response.

Jim asks if he was in the carriage after his illness. Positive response.

Paul asks Angus if there were various colours on the carriage. Positive response when the colours yellow and white are mentioned.

Spirit tells Christine they were not treating him for his illness and they wanted him dead so they could get the property. Paul asks if his daughters sold the land. Positive response.

Jim asks when the daughters sold off the land. Positive response when the 1890s are mentioned.

Jim then asks if his daughters sold the property and split the money between them. Positive response.

He then asks if any money went to his son in law. Positive response.

Paul asks spirit to stop the glass moving for the moment. Jim asks Angus if he wants our help to move on. Positive response.

Jim asks Angus if he can do something else and asks Angus he can put the candle out. Positive response.

Paul asks Angus if he will thank Emily for speaking to us. Negative response.

Paul thanks spirit for the communication and closes the session.
